Phil has 35 years of commercial lending and leasing experience. Most recently Phil served as Senior Managing Director at FirstLight Financial Corporation, a commercial finance company that focused on providing senior debt to middle market companies. Prior to FirstLight, Phil was with GE Capital Commercial Equipment Finance for 14 years in a series of sales management and general management positions. Prior to GE, Phil was Director of Lease Syndications for John Hancock Leasing Corporation, Executive Vice President for BancIreland First Financial and a Vice President for Integrated Resources, Inc. He holds a BA from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from Babson College.
Dennis has 37 years of commercial lending experience and was most recently with GE Capital for 18 years. While at GE Capital, Dennis held various senior management positions in both risk management and business development. Included in his GE Capital experience is 6 years as the Chief Risk Officer for their leveraged finance business where he was responsible for a $7 billion loan portfolio and an 80 person credit staff. Prior to GE, Dennis was a commercial lender for six years with Maryland National Bank and for nine years with Core States Bank. His background includes expertise in asset based & cash flow lending, leasing and mezzanine investing. He holds a BS in Finance and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
Ed has 30 years of corporate finance experience. His background includes 16 years with GE Capital in various sales leadership positions where he originated and structured transactions, and three years as the CEO of a publicly traded investment firm. Most recently, Ed served as Senior Managing Director and Business Head for Tygris Corporate Finance, a start-up that provided customized financing solutions within segments that require significant understanding of their capitalization needs and industry specialization. Prior to Tygris, he headed up the Energy Finance team at FirstLight Financial Corporation, a commercial finance company that focused on providing senior debt to middle market companies. Ed’s last position at GE Capital was running the North American sales team for GE Energy Financial Services. Ed holds a BS degree from St. Johns University.
Randy has 28 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently he was with KPS Capital Partners where he was responsible for originating control equity investments in middle market companies in need of operational and financial restructurings. Prior to KPS, he was with FirstLight Financial Corporation, a commercial finance company that focused on providing senior debt to middle market companies. Prior to FirstLight, Randy spent 14 years with GE Capital in various transaction and leadership roles based in Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL, and Norwalk, CT. He also spent 2 years with US West Capital in their project finance group. Randy began his career in Boston as a financial analyst with Banc Ireland First Financial, a boutique leasing, project finance and corporate finance group. He received a BS in Finance and Investments from Babson College.
Susan has 25 years of finance and controllership experience including 10 years of securitization and structuring experience. Susan most recently worked for Castleton Commodities International, a global energy merchant, where she was Executive Director, Head of Controller Project Management and Strategic Initiatives. Susan’s past experience includes controllership and treasury roles with asset managers Plainfield Asset Management, Wexford Capital and Smith Management. She was also involved in the growth and public offering of ContiFinancial Corporation who serviced a $20 billion portfolio of consumer and commercial loans. Susan also served as the Manager of Financial Reporting for GE Capital. Susan began her career as an auditor for PriceWaterhouse. She holds a BBA in Accounting from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
